Marcus is also a firm believer in the importance of direct experience and a quality education. He received his home inspection training and certification through InterNACHI, the industry’s most respected resource. If he is not inspecting homes, he is helping clients to buy and sell their homes and has extensive experience working closely with other Realtors giving him a comprehensive view of what it takes to close a deal. He knows what flaws in a home can break a deal and always reports with close attention to ethics in mind. Safety and Security are essential for all buyers and sellers and it is our job to ensure that for all parties involved in every transaction we are part of.

Marcus’ Background Experience
As you can see above, Marcus has a lot of experience in related fields. But let’s take a closer look at how his background can help you make the right decision about your future home.

Construction / Handyman
Spending 7+ years working with construction and running a handyman business gave Marcus a lot of hands-on experience with all aspects of residential homes. It also taught him exactly what to look for in Santa Maria Area houses, including common issues that tend to pop up in the same building types.

Microbiology
If you’re interested in protecting your family’s health, you may need to get a water and mold test conducted. Fortunately, Marcus’ time as a laboratory microbiologist makes him uniquely qualified to either provide this type of testing or recommend a qualified professional. These services are currently on hold until further notice.

Landscaping
Marcus also grew up around his father’s landscaping business, which he then worked in for 10+ years. Once again, he spent a lot of time working directly with residential properties and learned about the many problems that can arise from structural damage or wear and tear.
